PROCESS
Design Consultation
Let’s get to know each other. In this first step, our landscape architects will come out to meet you, see the property, and most importantly, hear about your dream result. Our goal is always to create a plan that fits into the context of your home and property. It reflects your style and ultimately delivers a space that’s better than you imagined.
Conceptual
Master Planning
Time to get creative. Here’s where we take what we learned about your aspirations and spend some time in thought at the drawing board. This design phase will include some back and forth and perhaps a few working sessions with you as we move through variations until we get a final plan nailed down. Towards the end of this planning, we’ll be able to build a rough budget for the project. The budget will help guide us through the next steps and prioritize your project. It may also tell us that we need to go back to the drawing board. That’s ok, too; it’s all part of the process.
Design Development
Details. Details. Details. In this step, we’ll take a deep dive into the various components of the project that make it unique. Sorting out questions like: how tall is the wall, what’s it made of, where does that material come from, and what does it cost? Spending the time to figure these details out now means fewer delays later and helps to minimize any surprise costs once the project begins.
Pricing
What does it cost? With our design development completed, we’ll be able to provide an accurate proposal for the installation of the project. At this stage, we are also ready to talk through the schedule. When can we start, and how long should it take?
Project Management
& Installation
Let’s build it. Finally, it’s time to put the plan into action. This will be the messiest part of the process; we promise it will be worth it in the end. Here we will coordinate the various components of your project and keep you updated on the schedule as we progress towards the finished product. Once we are complete, it’s all yours. Time to enjoy it!
